Faculty Councils Advise on Possible Mergers
In June, Faculty Council student representatives from 8 of the RUG’s 11 faculties sent a letter to the University Council regarding our sentiment on potential faculty mergers. We thank the Pro Geo party (FSS faculty) for their initiative! You can read the letter here.

Ukrant Article
On the 5th of February 2025, we published an article through Ukrant which aimed to clear up misconceptions about the role of Faculty Councils within university participation. You can read it here.

During the third Faculty Council meeting, which took place on the 6th of February 2025, we read out a statement regarding our mistrust towards the Faculty Board after they had misinformed the Council about whether the plans for 8 testing moments were a policy from central or not.
